ED files chargesheet in Nagaland High Court construction case
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has filed a chargesheet against a contractor and some companies in a case related to the construction of the new complex of the Gauhati High Court bench in Kohima, Nagaland.
The case was initially registered by the CBI in 2019 following a PIL that alleged misappropriation of public money and sub-standard construction work.
The ED's chargesheet accuses Nagaland PWD officials and contractors of inflating the costs of construction, leading to excess payments.
