Four Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar Jail Constables Receive State Awards

Some police officers who work in a special building called a jail received a big honor.

The honor is called an award, which is like a prize for doing excellent work.

Four of the officers work at a jail in a city in India called Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar.

Their names are Sanjay Khedkar, Narayan Sonawane, Ambarsingh Naglot, and Babasaheb Gaikwad.

One of them, Babasaheb Gaikwad, has retired, which means he no longer works but was still recognized.

The officers received certificates and special gifts called mementoes.

A very senior police officer named Suhas Varke gave them the awards.

The ceremony took place in a city called Pune.

All together, 28 workers were honored on that day.

Many people congratulated them for their achievement.
