Road Safety Campaigns in Andhra Pradesh
In Andhra Pradesh, there were two big events about road safety.
In Anantapur, the police organized a fun dance called a flash mob to teach people about wearing helmets, using seatbelts, and following traffic rules.
Students from a local school performed a dance to a song about being safe on the roads.
They also showed a damaged car from a past accident to remind everyone of the dangers.
They even gave out chocolates to people who were wearing helmets.
In Nandyal, a minister spoke at an event about the importance of following traffic rules.
He warned that using phones while driving and drinking alcohol before driving are very dangerous.
He also said that everyone should follow traffic rules to prevent accidents and that strict action will be taken against those who don't.
Both events wanted to make sure people are safe on the roads.
Anantapur district police organized a flash mob to promote road safety awareness, with students performing a themed dance.
Key safety measures highlighted included wearing helmets, using seatbelts, and avoiding drunken driving.
A mangled four-wheeler from a previous accident was displayed to illustrate the consequences of negligence.
Chocolates were distributed to motorists wearing helmets as part of the awareness drive.
Minister NMD Farooq urged motorists to strictly adhere to traffic rules and warned against dangerous driving practices like using mobile phones and driving under the influence of alcohol.
