Madhya Pradesh to Fill Only 20k of 2.3 Lakh Teacher Vacancies

Madhya Pradesh to Fill Only 20k of 2.3 Lakh Teacher Vacancies

In Madhya Pradesh, there are 2.3 lakh empty teacher jobs, but the government only wants to hire 20,000 new teachers.

This means many schools, especially in rural and tribal areas, have to manage with fewer teachers.

The government recently held exams for middle and primary school teachers.

Around 90,000 people passed the middle school teacher exam, but only 10,500 will get jobs.

For primary school teachers, exams were held in October 2025, but results are not out yet.

Only 10,150 will be hired, including some special teachers for subjects like music and sports.

Many people who passed the exams are upset and want the government to hire more teachers.

They plan to protest to ask for more jobs.
