Tourists Rescued After Crane Malfunction at Kerala Sky Dining

Tourists Rescued After Crane Malfunction at Kerala Sky Dining

In Kerala, India, a family of four, including two kids, and a restaurant worker got stuck high up in the air in a special dining place called a sky-dining restaurant.

The crane that was holding the dining place up broke, so they were stuck about 150 feet high for more than two hours.

Fire and rescue teams came to help and safely brought everyone down.

The family was visiting from another city in Kerala.

The restaurant is part of an adventure tourism program in the hills.

The crane had a problem with its hydraulics, which is what makes it move.

The workers at the restaurant were trained to handle such situations, so they stayed calm.

The restaurant management did not call for help, but local people told the authorities about the problem.
