Suspected TTP-Linked Man Arrested in Bengaluru

Suspected TTP-Linked Man Arrested in Bengaluru

The police in a big Indian city called Bengaluru arrested a 25-year-old man.

His name is Asphula Mallik, and he worked as a security guard.

The police think he might be connected to a group called the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan, also known as the TTP.

Many countries say the TTP is a terrorist group.

Police started to watch his online posts after seeing things linked to extreme ideas.

They watched him for almost a month before arresting him.

They also say he talked to a person in Afghanistan who may have links to the group.

Mallik was angry at Pakistan's army and talked about taking revenge, and messages and recordings were found on his phone.

He had also got a passport and asked for a visa to go to Afghanistan, but he never went.

Police are still investigating to find out more.
