Sweet Seller Honored for Funding Medical Dreams, Community Support

A kind man who sells sweets named Mrinmoy Ghosh was celebrated at an event in Siliguri.

Even though he refused an award, he was invited because he helps many people.

He uses the money he earns from his sweet shop to help poor students go to college, especially to become doctors and engineers.

He also feeds hungry people every day and helps families with weddings.

Five students he has supported came on stage with him.

Another person, Barry O'Brien, was also recognized for helping people start small hotels in villages to boost tourism.

Everyone was impressed by how these people help their communities.
