Bajaj Mobility AG to cut 500 jobs
Bajaj Mobility AG, which owns KTM AG, a big motorcycle company in Europe, is going to let go of about 500 workers.
This is part of a plan to make the company more competitive.
They want to spend less money, make their products better, and manage their offices in different countries more efficiently.
Bajaj Auto, an Indian company, bought a big part of KTM last year.
The company has about 3,800 workers right now, and most of the job cuts will be in office jobs and middle management.
Bajaj Mobility AG announces a global rightsizing program to cut around 500 jobs at KTM AG.
The job cuts are primarily in white-collar areas and middle management.
KTM AG has a total of 3,794 employees as of December 31, 2025.
The restructuring aims to reduce fixed costs, streamline structures, and optimize the product portfolio.
Bajaj Auto acquired a majority stake in KTM AG in November 2024.
