Himachal Pradesh Teachers to Use Local Dialects on Saturdays
In Himachal Pradesh, teachers will now speak with students in local dialects on the last Saturday of each month, when students don't bring their bags to school.
This is part of a plan to help kids learn about different languages and cultures.
The teachers will chat with the students in their local dialects for half an hour.
The goal is to help students and teachers understand each other better and to keep local languages alive.
School leaders have been told to make sure this happens.

The initiative will last for half an hour.
It is being implemented under the New Education Policy (NEP-2020).
