Israel Accuses Hamas of Violating Gaza Truce
Israel's leader, Benjamin Netanyahu, said Hamas broke the peace deal in Gaza.
A small explosion hurt an Israeli soldier.
Israel wants Hamas to stop being in charge and give up weapons.
Hamas says they will only do that if there's a Palestinian state.
Since the peace deal started, more than 400 people have been killed in Gaza.
Both sides blame each other for breaking the peace.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu accused Hamas of violating the Gaza ceasefire after an explosive device wounded a military officer in Rafah.
Israel vowed to respond to the alleged violation, stating Hamas must fully uphold the October ceasefire agreement.
The ceasefire agreement envisages the removal of Hamas from power in Gaza, as well as demilitarization and deradicalization of the territory.
Gaza's health ministry reports that Israel has killed more than 400 people in the territory since the ceasefire took effect on October 10.
Hamas has stated it will only disarm if a Palestinian state is established, as per a 20-point plan issued by former US President Donald Trump.
