Benedict Cumberbatch Plans Rogue Male Adaptation
Benedict Cumberbatch wants to make a movie called 'Rogue Male' from a book written a long time ago.
The book is about a man who tries to hurt a bad leader and then has to hide.
Cumberbatch thinks the story is interesting and important, especially because it talks about things that are happening in the world today.
He and his team are planning to start filming in 2026.
They have been working on this idea for a while, and Cumberbatch is very excited about it.
He also mentioned that he might be doing another movie with cloaks, which might be about Doctor Strange.
Benedict Cumberbatch plans to adapt the classic British novel 'Rogue Male' into a film.
The novel, written by Geoffrey Household, inspired Ian Fleming to create James Bond.
Cumberbatch hopes to start filming in 2026, though other commitments may affect the schedule.
The story follows an English sportsman who attempts to assassinate a European dictator and then escapes to England.
Michael Lesslie was hired to write the screenplay, and the project was initially set up at Fox Searchlight.
