Indian Markets Fall Amid Earnings and Global Tensions
The Indian stock markets had a bad day on Monday.
The Nifty and Sensex both went down because big companies like Wipro and Reliance Industries reported disappointing results.
There are also worries about global trade and geopolitical tensions, which made investors nervous.
The Indian rupee also got weaker, which didn't help.
On the bright side, some companies like IndiGo and Tech Mahindra did well.
Many stocks hit their lowest prices in a year, and there was a lot of selling.
People are also buying more gold and silver because they are seen as safe investments during uncertain times.
Experts think the market will keep going up and down until there are clearer signs of improvement.
Nifty and Sensex fell due to disappointing earnings and global trade tensions.
Top losers included Wipro (-8.21%), Reliance Industries (-3.07%), and Eternal (-2.87%).
Top gainers were IndiGo (+4.16%), Tech Mahindra (+2.39%), and Hindustan Unilever (+2.29%).
The rupee weakened to 90.91 per dollar, its lowest in a month.
Safe-haven demand boosted silver and gold prices.
