DAVV's Aviation School Gets Scholarship Recognition After Delay
A university in Indore called Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya has a school for aviation and tourism.
The government's Tribal Welfare Department finally added this school to their list of schools that can give scholarships to students from certain groups.
This happened after a long delay of one and a half years.
Now, students can apply for these scholarships starting in February.
The school offers different courses like aviation, logistics, and tourism.
The delay had made it hard for students to get scholarships, but now the problem is mostly fixed.
The government is trying to help the aviation sector by supporting these courses, and this approval will help many students.
Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya’s School of Aviation has been included in the Tribal Welfare Department's scholarship list after an 18-month delay.
Institutional and course codes have been issued for four programmes, enabling students from reserved categories to apply for scholarships.
The BBA Aviation course is still awaiting its course code, which is in the final stage of approval.
The delay had caused difficulties for students, particularly those from reserved categories, in applying for scholarships.
The school offers programmes including BBA Aviation, BBA Logistics, BBA Retail Operations, and MBA Tourism courses, with a total of 280 seats approved.
