Isolated Amazon Tribe Contact Raises Safety Concerns

The Mashco Piro, a group of people living deep in the Amazon who rarely interact with the outside world, have been spotted near a village.

This is worrying because they might not have immunity to common diseases.

Contact with the outside world could be dangerous for them because simple illnesses could make them very sick.

Indigenous rights groups are concerned about their safety.
