Over 60 Militants Killed in Pakistan Intelligence Operations
Some people with guns were hiding in a part of Pakistan called Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
These people belong to a group that the government has banned.
The army and police worked hard to find them.
They used small flying cameras called drones to see where the bad people were hiding.
The bad people were hidden under trees, but the cameras found them.
In about two days, the security forces stopped more than 60 of these militants.
Some of the people they found were important leaders of the group.
The forces also found guns and other weapons.
Before one operation, they made sure regular people were safe by moving them away from an area used as a hideout.
The leaders say they will keep working until there is no more danger from these militants.
Pakistani security forces killed over 60 militants during intelligence-based operations conducted over 36 hours in North Waziristan and Bannu districts.
Ten militants were killed and 16 injured in intelligence-based operations in Bannu district on Wednesday.
Fifty-two militants, including four key commanders of Fitna al-Khawarij, were killed in North Waziristan operations launched since Tuesday morning.
Quadcopters and drones were used to spot militants hiding beneath trees and at other locations before troops precisely targeted them.
Several militant hideouts were destroyed and weapons, ammunition and military equipment recovered; officials said operations will continue until terrorism is completely eliminated.
