Mumbai Metro-3's Final Phase Expected to Open Soon
Mumbai is getting a new part of its Metro!
The final section of the Aqua Line, going from Worli to Cuffe Parade, should be ready by the end of August.
It's taking longer because they're building through a tricky area called Kalbadevi.
When it's done, you'll be able to travel faster across the city.
The government also opened new bridges and a training center for metro drivers.
Plus, some people in Worli got new homes.
The final 9.1 km Worli-Cuffe Parade stretch of Mumbai Metro-3 is expected to open by the end of August.
The delay was attributed to complex construction in Kalbadevi.
Once open, the line will complete the north-south metro route.
Several infrastructure projects were launched by CM Devendra Fadnavis before Independence Day.
House keys were handed over to families in the redeveloped BDD chawls in Worli.
