Madhya Pradesh Defers First NEET UG Counselling Round
Madhya Pradesh was conducting the first round of counselling for NEET UG seats.
Counselling helps students choose and receive medical college seats.
The Directorate of Medical Education has postponed this round.
It did so because the Medical Counselling Committee changed its schedule.
The new schedule for Madhya Pradesh will be announced soon.
The allotment result that was expected on August 21 has also been delayed.
This was the second schedule change by the committee this counselling season.
The delay could push back later counselling rounds too.
The Directorate of Medical Education postponed Madhya Pradesh’s ongoing first round of NEET UG counselling.
The delay followed the Medical Counselling Committee’s revision of the All India and state counselling schedules.
The revised state counselling schedule will be published shortly.
The change delayed declaration of the NEET UG allotment result, which had been scheduled for August 21.
The postponement may affect the timing of subsequent second, third, and stray vacancy rounds.
