India Sets 50 Annual Space Launches Target by 2030

India wants to launch 50 rockets or spacecraft each year by 2030.

Pawan Goenka of IN-SPACe said this goal is too large for one organization to achieve alone.

The government and private companies will need to work together.

Companies will need to build more rockets and satellites.

India will also need more launch facilities and new space technologies.

The country now has more than 450 space startups, up from only a few five years ago.

A private Indian company has already flown a rocket to orbit.

ISRO is expected to keep researching advanced space technology.

Private companies are expected to turn those advances into products made at larger scale.
