Nashik Collector Orders Stronger Traffic and Security for Navratri
Many people are expected to visit festival sites in Nashik during Navratri.
District Collector Ayush Prasad asked officials to make a plan to keep traffic moving and help people stay safe.
They will use signs, barriers and other routes where needed.
Roads must stay open for emergency vehicles.
Police and forest officials will work together if wildlife-related problems happen.
Officials will check that cameras work in busy places.
Two buses are being planned to help visitors travel, and more parking may be added if needed.

District Collector Ayush Prasad directed officials to prepare and implement a special traffic plan for expected Navratri crowds.
The measures cover festival areas in Wani, Saptashrungigad and Chandwad, including traffic controls, barricades and alternative routes where needed.
Officials were told to keep emergency routes clear, deploy adequate personnel and install road signs and information boards.
Police and Forest Department teams will coordinate on wildlife incidents and display signs discouraging people from feeding wild animals.
Two shuttle buses are planned, with extra parking to be arranged if crowds increase; CCTV coverage at sensitive locations will also be checked.
