Nandyal collector prioritizes tribal welfare, education on World Tribal Day

A district leader in India named G Raja Kumari is in charge of a place called Nandyal.

She made an announcement on World Tribal Day, a special day to celebrate tribal communities.

She said her team will work hard to help tribal families get important things like clean drinking water, houses, and schools.

She gave out boxes of everyday items to 46 tribal families during the celebration.

An old school building will be turned into a place where young tribal people can learn new skills for jobs.

There will also be a special shop at the government office to sell handicrafts, leaf plates, bamboo items, and honey made by tribal people.

She told her workers to make sure tribal schools have enough teachers, classrooms, and hostels.

Money was approved to bring drinking water to 40 villages that need it.

More than 500 houses will be built for tribal families through a government scheme.

This is all to help tribal communities live better lives.
