Lahore House Collapse Kills 11 in Heavy Rains
A big house in a low‑income part of Lahore fell down during a birthday party.
The roof gave way because the heavy rain had made the building weak.
Eleven people, many of them women and children, died.
Six people were rescued and taken to the hospital.
A few people might still be stuck under the rubble, and rescuers are still looking for them.
Eleven family members died when a three‑storey house collapsed in Lahore.
The collapse happened during a birthday celebration in Harbanspura, a low‑income neighbourhood.
Heavy monsoon rains are suspected to have weakened the building before it gave way.
