127 Teams Register for National Basketball Championship
A big basketball tournament called the Harish Sharma 3 on 3 All India Basketball Championship is happening on December 27-28 in New Delhi.
Over 127 teams from all over India signed up, but only 87 teams will be chosen to play.
The winners will get a lot of money as prizes.
The tournament is named after a famous basketball player and will have special guests like Arjuna Awardees and a Padma Shri Awardee.
The mascot is an elephant named Titu Hoops, which stands for wisdom, strength, and teamwork.
The event is organized by the Prithvi Nath Club and is supported by big basketball organizations.
Over 127 teams from across India registered for the Harish Sharma 3 on 3 All India Basketball Championship (Men & Women).
87 teams (63 men's and 24 women's) will be selected to compete in the tournament.
The championship will be held on December 27-28 at the KD Jadhav Indoor Hall, Indira Gandhi Stadium Complex, New Delhi.
Cash prizes of Rs 1 Lakh, Rs 50,000, and Rs 30,000 will be awarded to the top three teams in both men's and women's categories.
The event is organized by the Prithvi Nath Club (PNC) under the aegis of the Basketball Federation of India (BFI) and endorsed by FIBA 3x3.
