Delhi Mandates Anti-Smog Guns for High-Rise Buildings
Delhi's government is making big buildings use special water sprayers, called anti-smog guns, to clean the air.
These guns will spray a fine mist to catch dust and make the air cleaner.
Buildings five stories or taller, and bigger than a certain size, must install them.
They have six months to get the guns working.
The government hopes this will help reduce the pollution, especially in winter when it gets very bad.
The guns need to use treated water and have rules about how much water they can use.
Delhi mandates anti-smog guns for high-rise commercial, institutional, and hospitality buildings.
The number of guns required depends on the building's built-up area.
Buildings must install the systems within six months of the directive.
Anti-smog guns are designed to suppress airborne particulate matter.
Treated water use is mandated, with specific hourly and daily limits.
