Indian-origin man dies after 8-hour ER wait in Edmonton
A 44-year-old man named Prashant Sreekumar, who was from India, died in a hospital in Edmonton, Canada.
He had really bad chest pain and went to the hospital, but he had to wait for more than 8 hours before he could see a doctor.
His family and friends are very sad because they think he could have been saved if he had gotten help sooner.
He leaves behind his wife and three young children.
The hospital said they are sorry but won't talk about what happened because of privacy rules.

Prashant Sreekumar, a 44-year-old Indian-origin accountant, died on December 22 after waiting over 8 hours in the emergency room at Grey Nuns Community Hospital in Edmonton, Canada.
He experienced severe chest pain, described as '15 out of 10' by his father, while at work and was taken to the hospital by a client.
Sreekumar was given Tylenol and an ECG, but was told nothing significant was wrong and had to wait for over 8 hours.
His blood pressure reportedly skyrocketed to 210 during the wait, and he collapsed and died shortly after being called into the emergency room.
The hospital expressed condolences but declined to comment on the specifics of the care provided, stating the case is under review.
