Sudhanshu Challenges TN Resolution on VB-G-RAM-G Legislation
Sudhanshu Trivedi, a leader from the BJP, said that the Tamil Nadu government did something that goes against the rules of the country.
He explained that when the central government makes a law, all states must follow it.
He compared it to local governments not being able to refuse to follow laws made by their state governments.
He also criticized the opposition party for supporting such actions, saying it is not good for the country's constitution.
Sudhanshu Trivedi criticized the Tamil Nadu Assembly's resolution opposing the VB-G-RAM-G legislation.
He argued that state legislatures cannot challenge or reject laws passed by Parliament.
Trivedi drew a parallel with local self-governing bodies refusing to implement state laws.
He questioned the opposition, particularly Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, for encouraging such actions.
Trivedi emphasized that once a Bill is passed by Parliament and not stayed by the Supreme Court, it becomes law and is binding across the country.
