Kolkata Readies for TMC Martyrs Day: Traffic, Opposition Concerns
The government in Kolkata is having a big gathering called 'Martyrs' Day' to remember people who were hurt in a protest a long time ago.
To make sure everyone stays safe and traffic flows, the police are closing some roads and changing how cars move.
The leader of the government, Mamata Banerjee, thinks other groups are trying to stop people from coming to the gathering.
She believes the rally is about protecting people's rights and fighting against those who want to control everything.
The rally is expected to have many people, and the government is working hard to make sure everything goes smoothly.
Kolkata Police announced traffic restrictions for the Trinamool Congress's 'Martyrs' Day' rally on July 21.
Restrictions will be in place on several roads from 4 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Mamata Banerjee alleged that opposition parties are trying to thwart the rally.
The rally commemorates the 1993 police firing on protestors led by Mamata Banerjee.
