Hyderabad Arrests Over Banned Manja Sales
In Hyderabad, the police arrested two people for selling a dangerous kite string called Chinese manja, which is banned.
They found 191 bobbins of this string, which is coated with glass and can hurt people and birds.
The police said that selling this string is illegal and can lead to punishment.
The ban on this string has been in place since 2016 to keep everyone safe.
The people who were arrested were selling the string for Rs.1,000 each and making money illegally.
One more person is still missing and has not been caught yet.

191 bobbins of banned glass-coated nylon Chinese manja were seized from the arrested persons.
The accused were selling the manja for Rs.1,000 per bobbin, earning unlawful gains.
The ban on Chinese manja was imposed in January 2016 under the Environment (Protection) Act, 1986.
Violators of the ban can face imprisonment up to 5 years or a fine up to Rs.1 lakh or both.
