Godrej Industries Expands into Wealth Management

Godrej Industries Group is making big changes to its money-related businesses.

They created a new company called Godrej Investment Ltd to manage all their financial services.

This includes their current lending businesses, Godrej Capital Ltd, which has two main parts: Godrej Housing Finance Ltd and Godrej Finance Ltd.

These businesses have grown a lot in the last two years.

The new setup will make it easier to add new services like wealth management, which is expected to grow a lot in India.

The changes won't affect most employees, but a few top executives will be part of the new company.

Other big companies in India, like Bajaj Finserv and Aditya Birla Capital, have similar setups.

Godrej Industries is one part of a larger company that split in 2024.

They have businesses in many areas, like consumer products and real estate.
