Russian strikes hit Kyiv for seventh consecutive day

Russia has attacked Kyiv and nearby areas for seven days in a row.

Drones hit parts of the capital while people were working and students were in class.

Eleven people were wounded in Kyiv, and buildings were damaged.

About 160 people sought shelter at a university.

The attacks have caused traffic problems and sometimes stopped parts of the metro.

Parliament members had to work underground during air alerts.

Other strikes damaged power facilities in the Odesa region and affected more than 350,000 homes.

Two people were killed and eight were wounded in Dnipro.

Ukraine says it wants stronger international action and is changing its alert system to make warnings easier to understand.
