Union Ministers Get Social Media Scores, Urged to Engage Youth

Union Ministers Get Social Media Scores, Urged to Engage Youth

Union ministers were given report cards about how they use social media.

The reports looked at activity between May 1 and August 15.

They checked posts on X, Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn.

The reports counted things such as posts, likes and how much attention each post received.

Ministers were told to use social media more actively.

They were also asked to communicate better with young people.

This is part of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s push to reach Gen Z online.

The review also compared ministers’ outreach with that of other political leaders, including Opposition figures.
