Four Hands, Two Sonatas Builds Rivalry Through Music and Friendship

Four Hands, Two Sonatas is a South Korean drama about two young pianists.

Kang Pi O is extremely disciplined and wants his grandfather’s approval.

Choi Jeong Yo plays with strong emotion but has painful memories and serious personal problems.

The two boys first compete against each other at Korea Arts High School.

They then practice a piano piece together, which slowly helps them become friends.

Pi O begins to discover that music can be enjoyable instead of only a way to win approval.

Jeong Yo’s family troubles bring danger and make Pi O try to protect him.

The show is strongest when it focuses on the two actors and the way music connects their lives.
