Bihar Kids Demand Minister, Contractor Names on Broken Crore-Worth Road

Bihar Kids Demand Minister, Contractor Names on Broken Crore-Worth Road

Some children in a place called Bihar in India noticed that their road was broken.

They thought this was not fair.

They saw that even a small biscuit packet, which costs only 5 rupees, has lots of information printed on it.

So they asked: why doesn't a big road that cost 100 crore rupees have information too?

They want the names of the minister and the contractor, the people responsible for building the road, written on it.

That way everyone would know who built the road.

The children also want the road's guarantee period to be written on it.

A guarantee is a promise that the road will stay in good condition for a certain time.

If the road breaks before that time, the children say the minister should pay for repairs from his own pocket.

Their idea helps make sure that people in charge are held responsible for their work.
