NTA Schedules Jaipur AIAPGET Retest After Power Failure
AIAPGET is an exam for students seeking postgraduate courses in traditional Indian medicine and homoeopathy.
The exam took place on August 22, 2026, at centres across India.
At one centre in Jaipur, the electricity stopped working during the computer test.
Because of this, 49 students could not finish their exams.
The National Testing Agency has arranged another exam for those students.
It will take place on September 1 at 10 a.m.
at a different college in Jaipur.
Some students said people talked or copied during the outage.
These cheating claims were allegations, and the centre observer said backup power failed because of a technical problem.
NTA will hold a September 1 re-examination for 49 AIAPGET 2026 candidates.
The candidates could not complete the August 22 computer-based test after a power failure at Shri Satya Sai PG College in Jaipur.
The re-examination will begin at 10 a.m. at Rajasthan College of Engineering for Women in Jaipur.
NTA said 35,837 of 36,979 registered candidates took the original Shift-I exam across 200 centres, and 35,788 completed it.
Candidates alleged that some students talked or copied during the outage, while the centre observer cited a technical fault that prevented backup power.
