India’s Vice-President Launches Gnani Artha Sovereign AI Stack
Vice-President C. P. Radhakrishnan launched a new Indian AI system called Gnani Artha.
It was created by GNANI AI.
Gnani Artha has two main parts called Evon 3.3 and Plexus.
Evon 3.3 is a computer program that can understand and generate language.
Plexus helps connect AI to real work and institutions.
Radhakrishnan said India should build its own technology instead of only buying or using technology from others.
He also said AI may create new kinds of jobs, just as computers helped create jobs in the past.
India is using AI in projects such as parliamentary translation and language access.
He said stronger Indian AI systems could help the country become more technologically independent.
Vice-President C. P. Radhakrishnan launched Gnani Artha at Uprashtrapati Bhavan on Friday.
The sovereign AI stack combines Evon 3.3, a large language model, with Plexus, an AI work platform.
Radhakrishnan said the launch showed Indian engineers can build frontier technologies, not just use them.
He said artificial intelligence could create new employment and support India’s economic growth.
The Vice-President called for sovereign AI capabilities to strengthen India’s technological and strategic autonomy.
