Tron: Ares Projected to Open With $44 Million
The new Tron movie, called Tron: Ares, is expected to make about $44 million in its first weekend.
This is similar to how the previous movie, Tron: Legacy, did when it first came out.
Tickets are already on sale and the marketing campaign includes spots during football games and a display at Disney World.
The movie stars Jared Leto and Jeff Bridges, and is about a program, Ares, who is sent from the digital world to the real world.
Other movies opening on the same day are also expected to do well.
