A special campaign called 'Har Ghar Tiranga' is happening in India before Independence Day.
It means 'Tricolour in every home' and asks people to bring the national flag home and hang it up.
A leader named Nitin Nabin, who heads a big political party, put up the Indian flag at his house in Delhi.
He took a selfie with the flag and asked everyone to do the same.
He wants people to feel proud of their country and remember heroes who fought for freedom.
People are encouraged to take pictures with the flag and share them online.
Other leaders also joined the campaign and put up flags at their homes.
One minister even started a special flag rally.
The campaign remembers a famous song called 'Vande Mataram' that is 150 years old this year.
