India Energy Week 2026 Highlights Advanced Fuels
At India Energy Week 2026 in Goa, Jio-bp launched a new type of petrol called ACTIVE Technology Petrol.
This special petrol helps clean the engine, making it run smoother and more reliably.
It can also help you drive up to 100 kilometers more every year without costing extra money.
The company showed how well it works by running a motorcycle for 4,000 kilometers on a test track.
Meanwhile, Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Hardeep Singh Puri highlighted that India is scaling up waste-to-clean energy conversion.
With 133 CBG (compressed bio-gas) plants commissioned and 83 under construction, India is transforming organic waste into clean energy.
These plants convert waste like agricultural residue and cattle dung into purified methane, which can be used as a green alternative to CNG in vehicles and industries.
This initiative strengthens energy security, reduces pollution, and promotes waste-to-energy solutions.
