Farmer Drinks Poison Over Land Dispute
A farmer named Arjun Singh Dhimar drank poison during a public meeting because he was very upset.
For four years, some people had taken his land and were not letting him use it.
He had asked the police and the court for help, but nothing changed.
The court even said the people couldn't take his land, but they didn't listen.
Feeling very sad and helpless, Arjun did this to show how much he was suffering.
Luckily, he is now okay and getting treatment.
Farmer Arjun Singh Dhimar consumed poison during a public hearing at the Guna Collectorate over a land dispute.
He had been struggling for four years against alleged illegal occupation of his agricultural land by local strongmen.
Despite a court stay order issued in September 2025, the accused continued to ignore it and threatened him.
Police and bystanders immediately rushed to help him, and he was taken to the district hospital where doctors said he is now out of danger.
Arjun had submitted multiple complaints to the authorities but received no relief, leading to his extreme action.
