Dharmendra's Haqeeqat Depicts 1962 India-China War
A long time ago, there was a big fight between India and China.
A movie called 'Haqeeqat' was made in 1964 to show this fight.
The movie stars Dharmendra and tells the story of brave Indian soldiers who fought against many Chinese soldiers in a cold place called Ladakh.
The soldiers were very brave and fought until the end.
The movie also has a famous song that talks about their bravery.
Some people who were in the real fight had small complaints about the movie, but most people liked it.
The movie was made with help from the Indian Army and even got some money from the Punjab government.
Dharmendra has played soldiers in other movies too, and he will be seen as a soldier's father in a new movie called 'Ikkis'.
The film 'Haqeeqat' (1964) depicts the Battle of Rezang La during the 1962 India-China war.
Dharmendra plays Captain Bahadur Singh, loosely based on Major Shaitan Singh, who led the Ahir company of 13 Kumaon.
The film shows the bravery of outnumbered Indian soldiers who inflicted heavy losses on the Chinese despite being encircled.
A famous song, 'Kar chale ham fida', highlights the soldiers' sacrifice and national support for the conflict.
The movie was shot in Ladakh and received widespread acclaim, though some survivors criticized minor inaccuracies.
