India Finalizes Draft Coal Exchange Rules by November
India is working on creating a new way to trade coal, like an online marketplace.
The rules for this new system are almost ready and will be finalized by the end of November after reviewing suggestions.
This new exchange will help make coal trading more open and fair.
The organization that oversees coal, called the Coal Controller Organisation, will be in charge of making sure these exchanges follow the rules.
This is expected to make buying and selling coal in India more efficient.
Draft rules for India's proposed coal exchange will be finalized by the end of November.
Feedback from the public on the draft rules is currently being examined.
The coal exchange aims to introduce transparency, efficiency, and a market-driven approach to coal trading.
The Coal Controller Organisation (CCO) will be responsible for registering and regulating coal exchanges.
Progress has been made on the disinvestment process for Bharat Coking Coal Ltd (BCCL) and Central Mine Planning and Design Institute Ltd (CMPDIL).
