Police are getting ready for a big 10-day festival at Kanaka Durga Temple.

The festival is scheduled to run from October 11 to 20.

About 3,130 police personnel will help keep visitors safe and manage traffic and crowds.

Commissioner SV Rajasekhar Babu told them to be patient, polite and helpful.

Officers will use whistles and loudspeaker announcements to guide people.

Cameras, drones and other technology will help them watch queues and parking areas.

A control room will help officers monitor what is happening.

Visitors can use arranged parking areas, but they cannot park near Om Turning.
