Srisailam Approves ₹288 Crore For Queues And Devotee Amenities

Srisailam is receiving money to improve facilities for temple visitors.

The government has set aside ₹100 crore for toilets, dining, tonsure, and other basic needs.

Another ₹188 crore will fund a larger queue complex.

The new complex should be able to manage up to 50,000 visitors each day.

About 20,000 to 30,000 people currently visit Srisailam daily.

Existing rooms can accommodate only about 15,000 people per day.

Devotees say finding rooms and using toilets is difficult.

Officials expect the public amenities to be completed within a year and the queue complex within two years.

More visitors are expected during Karthika month.
