Kerala CM Inaugurates Tunnel Project Near Landslide Site
The Chief Minister of Kerala, Pinarayi Vijayan, recently started building a new tunnel.
This tunnel will be 8.75 kilometers long and will go through the Western Ghat hills, close to areas that had landslides.
The project will cost a lot of money.
The main goal is to make it easier for people to travel between two districts.
It will also help tourism and businesses in the area.
Right now, people have to use roads over the hills, but the new tunnel will provide a faster route.
It will be the third longest road tunnel in India once it is finished.
