Tripura CM to discuss road widening with Assam CM
The Chief Minister of Tripura, Manik Saha, wants to talk to the Chief Minister of Assam, Himanta Biswa Sarma, about making the road at the Churaibari border crossing wider.
This is because there is a lot of traffic there every day, and the road is too narrow on both the Tripura and Assam sides.
Mr. Saha also looked at the area and saw that there are many stone-crushing machines that are causing problems for the environment.
He said he will have a meeting with officials to control these machines.
He also visited a fuel depot and told the drivers not to pay money to anyone who is not supposed to get it and to tell his office if anyone asks for money.
