High Court Stays Appointment of 454 Pharmacy Officers Till September

People who want the jobs took a test on July 19.
Some people said the test was unfair.
They said a cheating gang was involved.
Police broke up that gang on the same day as the test.
The court said no more appointments can be made for now.

The plea alleged the exam was 'vitiated by an organised cheating racket' dismantled by Punjab Police on July 19.
The recruitment was advertised on June 11, 2026 by the Baba Farid University of Health Sciences for the department of health and family welfare.
An earlier interim order on July 28 had made the selection process subject to the outcome of the petition.
