Trent, BEL to Enter Sensex in Major BSE Index Rejig
Imagine the stock market has different teams.
The BSE, a big stock market, is changing the teams.
Two new companies, Trent and BEL, are joining the most important team, Sensex, replacing other companies.
Other teams like BSE 100 are also getting new players, while some are leaving.
This means some companies are becoming more important, and some less, which might affect how much money people think those companies are worth.
The changes start on June 23, 2025, which means there will be new teams in the market.
Asia Index Private Limited announced changes to BSE indices.
Trent Ltd and BEL will replace Nestle India and IndusInd Bank in Sensex.
Dixon Technologies, Coforge and Indus Towers will be added to BSE 100.
IDFC First Bank will replace Canara Bank in the BSE Bankex.
The changes are effective from the market open on June 23, 2025.
