Bhiwandi Civic Body Enlists Religious Leaders for Health Drive

Bhiwandi’s city officials want more families to use important health services.

They met with religious leaders, doctors and health workers to plan this effort.

The leaders will encourage parents to vaccinate their children on time.

They will also help health workers reach children who may have missed vaccines.

Doctors explained that giving birth in a hospital is safer because emergencies can happen suddenly.

Hospitals can provide surgery, blood or other urgent care when needed.

The leaders will also ask residents to separate wet and dry waste.

Everyone is being asked to help keep the city clean.
