EPFO Vishwas 2026 Scheme Offers Lower Penalties Until December 28
EPFO has created a one-time program called Vishwas 2026.
It helps some employers settle penalties for paying EPF contributions late.
The program is available until December 28, 2026, and EPFO says the deadline will not be extended.
The rules may apply to certain payments made before June 14, 2024.
Some court cases, unpaid penalty orders and pending notices may qualify.
The penalty depends on how long the payment was late.
Employers must first pay the interest they owe.
Then they can apply online, upload documents and complete digital verification.
EPFO’s Vishwas 2026 settlement scheme is open until December 28, 2026.
