Indian Man’s Europe and India Comparison Sparks Online Debate
Mayukh wrote online about what he sees as differences between life in Europe and India.
He said Europe can look beautiful but may also have safety concerns and long waits for some medical care.
His post followed Ameer Kotecha’s account of being threatened by a cyclist in London.
That account has not been independently checked by the news outlet.
Mayukh also said India has visible problems, including pollution and litter.
Still, he believes daily services can be easier to access in Indian cities.
People online had different opinions about his comparison.
Some agreed with him, while others said it overlooked problems in India, including concerns about women’s safety.
Mayukh argued that Europe’s polished image can obscure concerns about safety, healthcare waits, affordability, and public services.
He made the comparison after Ameer Kotecha described being threatened in London by a cyclist, an allegation not independently verified.
Mayukh said India has serious problems, including pollution, dirty rivers, poor drinking water, and broken footpaths.
He argued that daily life in Indian cities can feel safer and that appointments and services are often accessible and affordable.
Social media users disagreed, with some supporting his view and others challenging his comparisons and pointing to women’s safety and India’s public systems.
