Automakers Reduce Prices Following GST Rate Cuts
The government changed the tax (GST) on cars.
Because of this, car companies like Mahindra & Mahindra, Toyota and Renault are lowering their prices so people can buy them cheaper.
Smaller cars now have a lower tax rate.
Electric cars and hydrogen cars have even lower tax rates.
This helps people afford cars and the auto industry is happy about the changes.
